TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families)

Tribal Land Residents

Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
TTANF (Tribally-Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
Head Start
Various state assistance programs

People who are currently not on any of these programs have to ability to receive this benefit, if their income is below the poverty line.

1 Person households are allowed to earn $15,080.
2 Person households are allowed to earn $20,426.
3 Person households are allowed to earn $25,772.
4 Person households are allowed to earn $31,118.

The typical discount can be as much as $30 off of a cell phone activation fee or land line installation fee and $10 off the monthly service, depending on the state. However, those living on Tribal lands can get a maximum discount of a $100 off a cell phone activation fee or land line installation fee and $35 off per month on their basic services.
